FocusBlocks ("the App") is developed by Mehmet Heleteli ("Developer", "we", "us"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
FocusBlocks does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data with the Developer or any third parties. All data you create in the App — including time blocks, reminders, categories, and notes — is stored locally on your device.
If you are a Pro subscriber, the App uses Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to the Developer or any third party. iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The App additionally uses Apple's iCloud Key-Value Store to sync your Pro subscription status across your own devices. Only an entitlement flag is stored — no blocks, reminders, categories, or notes are included. Like other iCloud data, this is stored in your private iCloud account and is not accessible to the Developer or any third party.
FocusBlocks offers an optional Pro subscription managed entirely through Apple's StoreKit framework and the App Store. We do not process or store any payment information. All purchase and subscription data is handled by Apple in accordance with their privacy practices.
The App may request permission to send local notifications to remind you of upcoming time blocks and reminders. Notification data is processed entirely on your device and is never sent to external servers.
To help you find your time blocks through your device's system search, the App may index block titles, categories, and durations with Spotlight on your device. Notes are intentionally excluded from indexing. Spotlight entries expire automatically after 30 days. All Spotlight data remains on your device and is never transmitted.
The App provides home screen and lock screen widgets, as well as Live Activities, that display your block data on your device only. No widget or Live Activity content is transmitted off the device.
The App may request access to your device calendar to display calendar events alongside your time blocks. Calendar data is read locally and is never collected, stored, or transmitted by the Developer.
FocusBlocks does not use any analytics frameworks, tracking tools, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device identifiers.
All your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. If iCloud sync is enabled, data is additionally stored in your private iCloud container. We do not operate any servers or databases that store your information.
FocusBlocks does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App stores all data locally on the device and does not transmit data to any external service.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
